Jun 12, 2010 - rogue is the strongest chracter in x-men cuz all she has to do is just touch u....and she can become invincible if she just master hers powers cuz wen she does do that than she can recall anybodies powers she has ever touch and use them too theirfull potential and she will be able to have that power stored in her forever.....lets not mention that when she does master her powers thatn she can be able to control them and actually touch ppl(like gambit!!!!)lol

Jun 15, 2010 - @JPMOLLINEAU My guess. I think they wanted to keep it more dramatic and not get into the whole binary/the brood stories. Placing her in a coma added more of a dramatic effect and made it so rogue was more of a character desiring redemption. I think the end may have been a nod to the comics and Carol may eventually wake up but missing her memories and emotions.

The only reason why she made a good Xman was thanks to Ms. Marvel's hero personality.Despite how powerful Rogue is with Ms. Marvel's powers, she got trashed by the Vision (can't absorb an android's powers), then Wonder Man (can't absorb pure energy), and was beaten very badly by Iron Man (can't absorb armor) all on the same night in Avengers Annual #10.A little later, When Carol became Binary, she almost killed Rogue in battle.
